Disneyland Dining

There are many options for keeping your family fed, in and around Disneyland Park. Most hotels have restaurants and/or snack bars. The area surrounding the Park (Good Neighbor District) has ample restaurants to fit any budget. The dining options within the Parks and Downtown Disney District, is loaded with varieties of cuisine, style and price range. Here is some general information and pointers to keep in mind when planning your Dining Experiences:

Price Categories

Dining in the Parks and the surrounding area can range from budget to pricey.

Budget(Quick Service) US $15 and under per adult

Moderate (Table Service) US $15-$30 per adult

Fine (Table Service) US $30-$60 per adult

Kids Meals average US$6.00-$13

Toddler Meals average US$4.50

Dining Categories

The following categories will help you navigate the vast dining options in the Parks, Downtown Disney District and Disneyland Resort Hotels.

Snacks

  • Snack stands are available throughout the Parks
  • Snacks range from healthy choices such as hummus and veggies or decadences such as giant turkey legs or frozen, chocolate-dipped bananas

Quick Service

  • Self-serve, buffet style
  • No gratuity
  • Most Disney Dining is Quick Service

Table Service

  • Gratuity expected
  • Reservations are often accepted (and recommended)

Toddler Meals

  • Ages 3 and under
  • Variety limited

Character Dining

  • Recommended for most children
  • Regular and Premium Character Dining available
  • See “Character Dining Section” for more details

* Vegetarian or special dietary restrictions

  • Most Disney Dining has vegetarian options
  • Allergies, Gluten-free etc. require notification at time of reservation or to the staff upon ordering

Character Dining

  • There are 2 price categories for Character Dining-Premium and Regular
  • Premium ranges from US$39-31 adult/US$21-16 child
  • Regular ranges from US$31-27 adult/US$16-13 child
  • Character Dining vouchers are available for pre-trip purchase and include taxes and gratuity
  • Reservations recommended for ALL Character Dining.

Dining Shows

There are 2 Dining Show options available within the Parks

World of Color: This popular sound and light show takes place every night in Paradise Bay in California Adventure Park. Several Dining options are available and have the benefit of reserved seating for the show.

Fantasmic!: Disney’s Fantasia is the highlight of this special effects, water and pyrotechnic show on the Rivers of America in Frontierland. Premium seating is available with a dining reservation.

Downtown Disney Dining

  • The Downtown Disney District has a good variety of dining options including take-out, quick service and table service
  • There are a variety of cuisines and atmospheres to choose as well as price ranges
  • Children are welcome at all restaurants and most have a Kid’s Menu

Dining Outside the Parks

The Good Neighbor Hotels

  • These are all hotels in the area surrounding Disneyland Park BUT not the Disneyland Resort Hotels
  • Most of the restaurants are in the budget- family category such as Denny’s and IHOP or similar type chain eateries
  • Anaheim’s Garden Walk is an area similar to Downtown Disney offering outdoor shops and restaurants of a moderate price range. The Cheesecake Factory, for example, is located here

Disneyland Resort Hotels

  • The three Disneyland Resort Hotels offer a variety of take out, cafes and restaurants in the budget, moderate and fine dining price range
  • You do NOT have to be a guest of the hotel to eat at any of the locations
  • There is Character Dining at each of the hotels

Dining Shows

  • There are a few Dining Show options in the Anaheim area
