The Lay Of The Land - DISNEYLAND

Main Street, U.S.A. After passing through the entrance gates, you find yourself on Main Street U.S.A. Highlights include a good variety of shops, including a wonderful candy store, a large selection of plushies, and some Disney-style fashion. Be sure to check out The Emporium…a good place to grab that autograph book 'cause oodles of characters await'!

Tomorrowland Experience the 1960’s retro feel of this land full of space-age fun! Blast off into outer space on one of Disneyland’s most popular rides, Space Mountain, take a trip Star Wars style on Star Tours, or join Buzz Lightyear on an interactive battle in Buzz Lightear Astro Blasters. Other highlights include the Jedi Training Academy and a 1955 original ride, Autopia

Fantasyland Enter the land of fairytales full of rides based on classic Disney animated films such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Snow White. Little princesses can experience a magical transformation by their own fairy godmother at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or a meet and greet with Anna and Elsa from Frozen

Frontierland Stroll along the Rivers of America where the wild, wild, West comes to life. Here you will find an exhilarating train-coaster ride through caves and canyons on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or take a relaxing ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat. Be sure to re-fuel and take in some Old West entertainment at the 1955 original restaurant The Golden Horseshoe

Adventureland Take an exotic journey down a river on the 1955 original ride the Jungle Cruise or explore an ancient temple archaeology-style on the thrilling Indiana Jones Adventure. Grab a refreshing pineapple whip at the Tiki Juice Bar then head into a sing-a-long with the birds in The Enchanted Tiki Room

New Orleans Square New Orleans' French Quarter comes to life amidst unique shops and quaint restaurants. Grab a classic Monte Cristo sandwich and other Cajun-Creole dishes at the must-see Blue Bayou restaurant. Enter the world of pirates in the ever popular Pirates of the Caribbean or get your spook on at The Haunted Mansion

Critter Country Cool off in this land…literally as you take a zip-a-dee-doo-dah log ride on Splash Mountain. There’s a good chance you might bump into Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too! Grab a relaxing meal on the porch at the Hungry Bear restaurant…the fried green tomato sandwiches are divine!

Mickey's Toontown Pop in for a visit at the homes of Disneyland's most important citizens - Mickey and Minnie. Little ones will love the miniature roller coaster Gadget's Go-Coaster

Disney’s FASTPASS Service

This convenient system allows you to “hold your place in line” for select rides while you enjoy other attractions. Basically, if the line-up is long, grab a FASTPASS ticket and return to the FASTPASS entrance at the time specified. More information at: Disney_Fastpass

Disney’s Rider Switch Program

If you are travelling with a child/children who are unable to ride, one adult may ride with one of the children while the other adult waits with the other child/children. The adults can then “switch” without having to wait in line again. Ask the attendant upon boarding if the ride has Rider Switch in effect.

*Autograph Books*

An autograph book is a must-have for most children. They are an excellent way of keeping track of the characters they’ve meet and some have a pocket for a photo next to the autograph. Autograph books can be purchased at most stores and kiosks. The basic style costs approx. US$7.95 and the photo album style between US$11.95-16.95. A fat pen is also a good idea (characters can’t hold regular width pens!). They average US$ 5.95

The Lay Of The Land - CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

Buena Vista Street California Adventure entrance gates lead you down Buena Vista Street. Visit shops and restaurants reminiscent of 1920’s Los Angeles. From the town square, pathways lead to the other lands of the park.

Grizzly Peak Home to one of the park’s premiere attractions Soarin’ Over California ...this “feel good” experience is a must do! Stroll down a shaded redwood trail past the almighty Grizzly River Run…hop on this inner tube journey down rapids that are sure to cool you off! Young explorers will enjoy the adventure at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Paradise Pier This largest area of the park is full of attractions, dining and shopping. Paradise Cove is lined with several must do attractions such as the largest coaster in both parks, California Screamin’, and the video game come to life, Toy Story mania! At night it is home to the popular water and light show, World of Color. Grab some traditional carnival snacks such as salt water taffy, corn dogs and pretzels. Little Princesses may dine in royal style with Ariel and other Disney Princesses at her undersea restaurant Ariel’s Grotto.

Pacific Warf A world of cuisine is at your fingertips on this pier reminiscent of San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Warf. Sourdough bread bowls, rice bowls, quesadillas, margaritas, and Ghirardelli chocolates and ice cream will satisfy your taste buds. Fine dining and wine tasting is also available, offering the flavors of California and the Mediterranean

Cars Land Inspired by the home of Lightening McQueen and Tow Mater, Radiator Springs comes to life in the newest section of the park. The amazingly “real” characters of the movie Cars and the spectacular race through the desert on Radiator Springs Racers makes for massive line-ups so grab a FASTPASS! Interesting treats await at the Cozy Cone Motel.

"a bug's land" Feel as tiny as a bug under giant leaves in this pre-school friendly land. There is not only fun for little ones though…It’s Tough to be a Bug! is a creepy-crawly experience for everyone!

Hollywood Land There is a lot to see and do along this Golden Age of Hollywood street. “Drop in” for a ghostly visit at The Twilight Zone Hollywood Tower of Terror. Little ones can see their favorite Disney Junior characters Live on Stage! Disney Animation is well worth the visit…especially for Turtle Talk with Crush, an often overlooked experience.
